Defined business unit and opportunity prioritization to expand the Brain Cancer portfolio of a large manufacturer

Our client, a global medical device manufacturer, was looking to expand their presence in the brain cancer space to exploit a business opportunity. Our client realized this would require developing a new business unit and asked for LSC’s help to define the business unit and how it can synergize with functional units within the parent organization. LSC was able to identify opportunities for field force synergies and incorporate those synergies into an opportunity prioritization matrix, setting up the new business unit with established governance and vetted projects to capture value in the brain cancer space.
