Developed a comprehensive understanding of referral flows for a Cell Therapy in development for Type 1 Diabetes to inform strategic commercial engagement planning at a mid-sized pharmaceutical company

Our client, a large biotech, was looking to launch a new cell therapy for Type 1 Diabetes and sought assistance to understand the patient referral flow from physicians currently managing the patient to the team at the treating center that would administer the therapy. LSC identified several different potential pathways and developed an understanding of the unique challenges faced by each. After going into the market, LSC was able to develop a series of solutions the client could take action to ensure potential patients were not lost to a difficult referral process.
