Business Case

Developed a roadmap to resolve specific access challenges for low-income patients in Mexico

A large pharmaceutical company identified a coverage gap for certain low-income patients in Mexico where their insurance ostensibly covered their prescription drugs, but they were rarely stocked by allowed pharmacies. LSC developed a business model to create a parallel distribution and pharmacy network to enable access to our client’s therapeutic portfolio. The business plan was received favorably and gave great visibility to our client points of contact as it was scrutinized directly at the C-suite level. The results of the effort have expanded access to thousands of low-income patients and provided a durable model for other large manufacturers to emulate or join.
