Due diligence for a PE fund to assess an orthopedic prosthetic company​

A PE fund was interested in buying a high-tech devices company in the orthopedic prosthetics sector by investigating the market size, its trends and the competitive landscape. LSC investigated in depth the orthopedic market, to understand current and future trends, by also conducting interviews with US and European Orthopedic Surgeons as well as by participating in ad hoc conventions, analyzed competitive landscape, comparing different products based on versatility and ease of use and identified a potential value creation strategy based on strategic fit assessment​
