Evaluated and recommendation of the process, challenges and benefits of a change to a blockbuster drug’s supply method

A mid-sized pharmaceutical company sought guidance to understand the potential implications of changing the supply method of its blockbuster brand. LSC identified and analyzed analogous treatments that had permanently changed their supply method, ultimately describing the process required to redefine the supply method and understanding from the market the challenges and benefits of changing the supply method. Given the specific situation of our client’s flagship brand, LSC worked iteratively to identify discrete scenarios that modeled whether our client should pursue a supply method change, or not. Based on our analysis and the aligned relative probability of different scenarios and the process roadmap LSC developed, our client was able to successfully change the supply class of their flagship brand.
