Evaluated emerging markets for a large pharma client to understand specific health system support strategies required to successfully manage a new multiple sclerosis treatment

Our client, a large pharmaceutical company, sought to expand their multiple sclerosis treatment to several emerging market countries: Jordan, Guatemala, Panama, Kuwait, Thailand, and Malaysia. The therapy required complex risk management, including qualifying tests and follow-up check-ups. LSC was asked to design a support system program for the centers to get additional resources based on their needs – equipment, a service to perform or analyze required testing. The client was able to take LSC’s work and enter geographically dispersed markets and demonstrate the complex product was manageable in emerging markets and has seen strong sales in these markets since launch.
